TI will welcome delegates and guests to the two-day gathering in the President Park hotel, ideally-located in the centre of Brussels.
This year’s theme – Pharmaceuticals Cold Chain Management & Good Distribution Practices – was chosen as a highly relevant issue in EU politics and policy following the publication by the European Commission of new Guidelines on the subject in 2013. The Friday programme will provide a platform for information exchange and networking, allowing members to hear from and interact with high-level political and industry stakeholders involved in the transport of pharmaceutical products.
Members will also discuss the state of play of and key TI activities surrounding legislative dossiers affecting our sector, such as the F-Gas Regulations, the Weights and Dimensions Directive, and the Directive on Emissions from Non-Road Mobile Machinery, for example.
Aside from the cocktail dinner buffet on the Thursday evening and a decadent gala dinner on the Friday, attendees will receive detailed information on how to enjoy the best of what Brussels has to offer, from guided tours of cultural heritage sites and well-known Brussels landmarks to where to find the some of the finest gastronomy in Belgium.
The TI Annual General Meeting (AGM) takes place once every year, either in September or October.
It is the key event in the temperature controlled transport industry with several hundred participants coming from science, politics and industry each year.
