Dear members of Transfrigoroute International,

It is a great pleasure for me, as President of Transfrigoroute Italy, to host Transfrigoroute International’s Annual General Meeting this year and welcome you to Italy, in particular to the Campania region and the city of Naples.

For me it is an exciting way to welcome you to my home, I was born in this region and here is where I live and conduct my business. I can only be proud of the exceptional beauties that will surround us during the two days we will spend together in the extraordinary setting of Naples.

Try putting a compass on the map and draw a circle around Naples: no other region in the world has such a concentration of wonders like the Amalfi Coast, the Royal Palace of Caserta, Capri, Pompeii, Sorrento, Positano and Ischia, just to mention some of the incomparable beauty of the Campania region.

Naples is the Italian capital of beauty, forged by centuries of history and culture. It is the capital of good food, where pizza, mozzarella and the main dishes of Mediterranean cuisine were born. It is a welcoming city, cosmopolitan and open to the world, with an exceptional mix of cultures and the proverbial hospitality of its people. It is one of the main economic engines of Italy, a transportation hub with leading food industries concerned with to the cold chain.

This and much more awaits you starting next September 26th. We have organized a dense program full of interesting meetings for you to exchange on the future of temperature-controlled transport and logistics, including e-commerce & urban distribution as well as temperature-controlled food supply chains and alternative power supply for refrigerated vehicles.

I look forward to host you with open arms in Naples!
